History

Since Wayne Gardner was 14 years old and dreamt of designing and having his own brand of bike.

Wayne modified bike with suspension he added from a CR125. At this age he realised the push bike (as we know it in Australia) wasn’t that comfortable to ride nor did it handle very well. He added the suspension and got the attention of the media.

Little did Wayne know that after all these years he would design and manufacture his own brand …  the Gardner87.

The revolution of electric vehicles has started and our contribution towards a cleaner environment and a more sustainable future is by providing an alternative solution to inner city transportation.

This is our DNA. Our strong background in motorcycle racing brings a different approach to the design and technology in this      Bike world. The GARDNER87 E-bike has been developed with technology inspired by motorcycle racing & experience.

Why And What Is Gardner87

•       Gardner87 was formed by exGP rider and Founder, Wayne Gardner, who wanted to integrate his years of racing experience and manufacturing knowledge into the new emerging electric era of e-bicycles and e-motorcycles

•       We are integrating technology, ideas and concepts to the bicycle world that will improve confidence and safety to our G87 riders.

•       Our small contribution to emission reductions, is what we can for our environment by moving into the electric era. Contribute to the benefit the planet.
